The Texas Six Pack was a feature we created in late 2018 for our Stone Cold Country Radio Show. Due to the incredible popularity of the segment, we’ve decided to roll it out as a stand alone podcast with new episodes on the 23rd of each month.

All right, well let’s get things rolling. Corey Kent had an epic year in 2022. He made his first Billboard chart appearance with one of our top songs from 2022 Wild as Her.

Let’s hear it!

Cory is sounding real good. Corey is from Bixby about an hour away from Tahlequah, the original home of the Turnpike Troubadours, still one of my favorite bands.I honestly did not know what red dirt music was until I heard the band for the first time over a decade ago. They have partnered with Onyx Coffee Lab, based out of Rogers, Arkansas for their own special brew, and it’s called “Long Road Home.”

The flavor blend includes chocolate, fruit punch, molasses, and heavy body. It will only be available for a limited time, so grab one at onyxcoffeelab.com

Yep, I already have. But I would love to hear a new album from the turnpikes! Absolutely

Like Onyx Coffee Labs, song Number two is from Arkansas native David Adam Byrnes. He’s called Fort Worth home for several years.

David’s latest single One Two Step Away was Released January 6th 2023 on Reviver records

Next up from From Vidor Texas, Donice Morace, Wait Till I’m Gone, released on Dec 16th, 2022

Songwriters:Mark Nelser Tom Shapiro Tony Martin

Let’s give it a spin.

Song number three comes by way of Aggie Cole Whittlesy. The song is titled I Know It, and was
